This year has been a fun yet ‘nervous’ season of Griz football. Watching the first game of the year, I was very concerned on how they would do this year. The offense looked very rough, but I was glad to see the defense holding their own. It’s been nice watching them improve drastically over the last few games.

I was so impressed with Saturday’s overtime win over NAU. The offense really took it to a new level, and the defense definitely had their hands full with  NAU’s quarterback, Herrick. Is it me.. or is it weird that he’s not playing for a bigger school?? He’s big, and threw for 11,000 yards in high school!

Regardless, it was great to see the Grizzlies reach down and find a way to win. I love the ‘never give up’ attitude this team has. Congrats Grizzlies!!! Enjoy your week off, and get healthy!

Side note, I absolutely love college overtime vs. NFL overtime. I wonder if they’ll ever change to it?
